I always have a hard time shopping at Dillards. I used to work at a department store back in the late 1990’s when I was in college, as well as a couple of years afterward. For what it was, they treated employees fairly well. Two weeks paid vacation, decent benefits and a regular work schedule. Not bad for $8.00 an hour sales help. Then Dillard’s bought the stores out, and everything changed, and not in a good way. I lasted 2 weeks, then was fired for some bullshit item, like leaving the store when I was on break or something. I think 90% of the store employees left by years end. It went from a store where people actually knew the product and cared about selling you good merch, to just minimum wage slaves who didn’t give a flying fuck about what they sold.
Sorry about the rant. The VW Shirt is awesomely bad, however. If I knew anyone who had a Beetle, or even a 911 Porsche, it’d be a perfect gift.

the shirt is cool cuz I like beetles but i couldnt pull it off like james may could. i think his age and floppy hair makes him more bohemian and for some reason could wear something crazy.
also I used to work at kohls and they were bastards i opened a store and all the women made me lift things that weighed more than 5 lbs and were total biottchs about it and they switched me from sales which I would like better being able to help people and stuff to replinishement I guess cuz I proved I could lift things. it sucked. we opened not much before xmas and the same 5 songs played all day. I still get a stroke when I hear lennon sing so this is christmas. i hated the job so much they used to have these team building cheers and it was like 7am and they wanted us to cheer and worship at the altar of the kohls god so CEOs could make bank. i dont do enthusiasm for the sake of enthusiasm especially corporate enthusiasm. after bailing on my freinds moving to south america to teach english I still used it as an excuse and told everyone I was going to still go and quit.
